♥ Orange – Cranberry Frozen Cake Recipe ♥
- 3 ounces vanilla pudding and pie filling mix (not instant)
- 2 cups milk
- ¾ cup thawed frozen cranberry-orange sauce (from 12-ounce container)
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 package (10.75 ounces) frozen pound cake, thawed
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- ¼ cup orange-flavoured liqueur or orange juice
- 11 ounces drained mandarin orange segments
~ How to Make it ~
First thing that we should do to make this is easy and simple desserts is mixing pudding and milk in 2-quart sauce-pan. Then, Heat it in over medium temperature, stir diligently, and remove from heat. After that, prepare plastic wrap and pour pudding into it. Let it cool in refrigerator for 2 hours.
After the pudding is ready, just beat whipping cream in a small bowl and use high speed electric mixer to stir it until it looks fluffy and soft. Add powdered sugar into the whipping cream and beat until becomes a dough. Fold 1/2 cup of the whipped cream into the pudding.
Now, it is time for garnishing this desserts . First, cut pound cake into 1/2-inch slices. Second, set one-third of the cake pieces in the bottom of glass bowl with slanted side. Pour 2 tablespoons of the liqueur and spread one-third cranberry-orange sauce over cake pieces. Next, top it using raspberries and orange segments. Take 1 cup of the pudding mixture over the fruit. Repeat the steps about until it becomes layered. Then, finish it with whipped cream on the top. Keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving. As the last touch, garnish the fruit with additional raspberries.
