  • 3 tablespoon(s) molasses
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) half-and-half
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 3/4 cup(s) heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) powdered sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup(s) brandy
  • 3 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 inch gingersnap cookies

The pudding

First, before you do this easy christmas desserts recipe, prepare a large bowl with ice water. Pour the sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup of the half-and-half, molasses, salt, nutmeg and brandy. Heat them in saucepan and set the heat between medium over medium heat. Stir diligently and keep it from being burned. Remove it from heat for a while. You can use different bowl for this easy desserts , it depends on your need.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg easy christmas dessertsyolks and 1/4 cup half-and-half in a medium bowl until they are mixed and they turn into fluffy.

Gradually add in 1/4 cup of the hot milk mixture to the egg mixture, while continuing to stir, then set aside.

Then, add cornstarch mixture into the hot milk mixture and stir them until they are mixed.

Remove the pan from the heat and pour the egg mixture into it, while whisking diligently. Re-take the pan once again on a heat and arrange the temperature into over medium-high heat. Stir them diligently until the liquid becomes simmering. Just be patient this easy desserts will be ready soon!

If the liquid starts to coagulate, remove the pan from the heat and place them into a medium bowl. Using plastic wrap, keep the liquid covered and place the layer directly on the hot pudding, and set ice cubes aside to make the pudding cool. The Garnish
